Today we finished the ACTION CAREER course, which lasted over 3 months.

We carried it out as part of the benefits for children aged 15-21 who are employees of one of the retail chains.

The aim of the workshop-style course was to prepare young people to enter the job market, show them how to make the most of their study time by acquiring additional skills, free and certified courses, internships and apprenticeships, and show them how to effectively find a job.

It turned out that many of our students still didn't have a clear idea of what they wanted to do, so we introduced competency tests and conducted coaching sessions with each of them. During five thematic online workshops, our participants from almost all over Poland had the opportunity not only to learn interesting job search techniques but also to practice interviewing.

The program also includes space for future competencies, the basics of effective learning methods, and elements of stress management.

Despite the diversity and individual needs, each participant found something for themselves, and the individual sessions at the end of the project helped everyone take the next steps to best prepare for entering the job market.
