What competencies are most valued by employers today?

One of the magazines published a list of competences of the future.

These are:

•The ability to think critically and logically

• Searching for valuable information from the crowd and combining it into a whole

• Creativity, i.e. the ability to think unconventionally

• Interpersonal communication

• Ability to work in a group

For my part, I would also add commitment, time management, and concentration. Why? Because after the pandemic, when remote work has become the norm, employees do not want to return to the company, and therefore do not integrate, do not identify with the organization, there is a lack of free exchange of ideas (it is not the same as online).

Many organizations are now looking for ideas on how to bring employees back to the company. When it comes to time management, it is closely related to the ability to obtain the right information from the abundance of information. In the thicket of attractive content, videos and activities, it is easy to get lost and go on the wrong track. Time, as they once said, is money and those who seek our time and attention on social media know this perfectly well.

Concentration? Of course. Its lack is a result of being served too many contents and options at once, and the lack of ability to choose. Quite a common experience: there are so many things to do in your free time, so much you want to do, that you end up doing nothing. Concentration is closely related to effectiveness, because you are effective when you consistently move in the right direction to achieve a previously defined goal.

So let's act - there is nothing else to do but polish your future competences.
